Review: One thing I have always loved about Kit Cosmetics nail polish is their fabulous range of shades. Sure there are world-famous nail polish labels out there with hundreds of shades to sink your teeth into however Kit's range of shades are bright, alluring, pretty and very me. My current favourite shade is Mustard, a soft yellow from Kit's limited edition Acai collection - it is stunning! And when I wear it I can't stop looking at it. Now for the downside: I have always struggled with the consistency of the formula - it is thicker than most on the market which makes application streakier. Being a thicker consistency means that the formula chips easier than its competitors - usually from the nail tips downwards. I used it with a nail polish thinner and this did thin out its consistency, however after 1-2 days I am still experiencing a lot of chippage. While I would absolutely love to give Kit Cosmetics Nail Polish five stars, it loses 1.5 stars due to the thick consistency which has concerned me for years and the price tag you pay for a product which doesn't last. If this were to change, or even a special Kit nail polish thinner added to the line, then you would most likely see me give my nail polish collection a complete overhaul, replacing each and every one of them with Kit Nail Polish - that's how god the colour range is.
