Review: My first impression: pretty. Calvin Klein Down Town is a stunning feminine fragrance which reminds me of New York City and Calvin Klein in their truest forms. Sweet, sophisticated and easy to wear, the bottle represents a modern, approachable fragrance with its rounded bottle and sleek silver bottle top. Down Town's floral, woody classification ensures that the fragrance is fruity and sweet, yet its woody undertones kick in to counteract the sweet scentness by offering warmth. Whilst you would expect an Eau De Parfum fragrance to last I do find that some Eau De Parfums tend to wear off quickly. Not Down Town. While I enjoy spritzing fragrance across my body in various places, I find that a single spritz of Down Town is more than enough for my liking otherwise it tends to catch in my nostrils. This scent lingers on skin and really lasts the distance. Down Town should be worn sparingly, or to your personal liking, otherwise the scent may be too heady or sugary sweet. It is noteworthy to know that I personally prefer well rounded fragrances and fresher scents, so if you do favour a sweet scented floral fragrance, Down Town is for you. Lovely ingredients are all rolled in to the one modern fragrance and I think it would be ideal for summer in an Eau De Toilette or Cologne.
