Review: After using this moisturiser for the past month, along with the night cream in the same range, I can vouch that it does have an impact on the visible appearance of my skin, however it’s nothing to get too excited about. I can notice a subtle improvement in the general tone and it does enhance the radiance. As far as sun protection goes, SPF 15 doesn’t offer too much coverage and there is no indication that it’s broad spectrum, but something is better than nothing at all. Considering it smells and feels more like a sunscreen and less like skin care, it really should offer a higher rating of protection. My skin is on the sensitive side and I didn’t suffer from any irritation, congestion or breakouts when using this product and that tells me it should be gentle enough for the
fussiest complexions. Overall, I think the Nivea Visage Naturally Even Daily Moisturiser is a great value, basic daytime nourishing cream that has bonus antiageing properties, ideal for those who want an effectively hydrating, budget moisturiser with moderate sun protection to help slow down the early signs of premature ageing. When I first opened the lid, I couldn’t help notice the familiar plastic, chemical-like scent that smells suspiciously of sunscreen, but fortunately the artificial fragrance isn’t too overpowering, because it definitely lingers for some time later. The moisturiser itself is typically white and features a thick, creamy consistency. Just a small pea-size amount can be a little hard to blend in and takes a bit of work before it absorbs and becomes invisible. The finish is still slightly tacky, regardless of how long the drying time, therefore it isn’t the best base for makeup. I find the nourishing formula too rich and heavy for my oily complexion and it seems to sit like a veil on top of my skin.  I don’t like how it feels almost  suffocating, especially in this humidity and it makes my face exceptionally shiny as well, so I need to keep blotting away the excess oil throughout the day. I prefer SPF products that are super lightweight, unlike this one, which I imagine would be more suitable for normal or possibly drier skin types that are thirsty enough to soak it all up, without having to go into battle with the grease. It comes in a cardboard wrap adorned with the prominent blue and white Nivea logo, plus a partial flower design in a trio of pink hues to identify the product range.  Inside, the squeezable soft plastic tube has the same presentation as the outer box, which stands upright on its sturdy flip-top lid. Because I didn’t find the Nivea Visage Naturally Even Daily Moisturiser particularly compatible for my oily skin, I wouldn’t buy it again myself, so I’m rating it with 3 stars out of 5 due to the results of my experience being nothing more than just average.
