Review: Skin feeling rough? Need a skin overhaul? For less than $50, Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser will get you back on track. This clever two-in-one cleanser not only keeps skin clean, it also contains gentle buffing beads that work to slough off built-up dry skin. Clarins claims that One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser is a one-step 4-in-1 product which is designed to not only cleanse and exfoliate but also tone and detoxify. If you wear makeup by day then rejoice because One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser also aids with makeup removal as the buffing beads gently remove excess dirt and your film of makeup from the skin's surface. The exfoliating beads can be felt along the skin's surface, but it feels really gentle and buffs away rough skin. If you have relatively normal skin then this is the perfect exfoliating cleanser but for those of us who experience a daily, rough build up of skin then One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser may not be the right choice because while it works hard to exfoliate, my skin builds up too quickly for this formula to keep on top of and therefore I am still in search of a powerful exfoliant. One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser is soap-free and enriched with orange extract. It smells fruity fresh - not in a natural sense, but it does smell pleasant. When applied to damp skin in the shower I do find that it is hard to remove from the skin's surface, leaving a residue on the skin's surface that needed a little extra time to remove. Its squeeze tube packaging is really convenient, it is easy to use and for the price you pay, a little does go a long way.
