Review: This is the first product from Puretopia that I have tried, and I was very excited to see that, like the rest of the product range, Whisk Away Rehydrating and Moisturising Creamy Face Cleanser is not tested on animals. It is free from nasty ingredients and chemicals such as sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances, artificial colours, propylene glycol, DEA, TEA and silicones. Just knowing that these artificial additives are suspected of causing cancer has made me stop to think over my skincare choices in future. I might go and clean out my bathroom cabinet! Rumour has it that often products without all these additives fail to produce effective results for the skin, but this is definitely not the case with Puretopia's Whisk Away Cleanser. After massaging the cleanser on to dry skin the creamy formula gently and effectively removes even the stubbornest traces of makeup including my waterproof mascara. After rinsing off the cleanser with warm water my skin is left feeling fresh, clean, and super soft, without feeling an inkling of dryness or taut skin. As the name suggests, all dirt and grime is simply 'whisked away'.
The inclusion of Grape Seed oil, Rosehip, Olive oil, Geranium oil, Rose oil and Shea Butter,
means that the Whisk Away Cleanser is paced with ultra nourishing ingredients which add nutrition and essential fatty acids to and sensitive skin. Although I normally have combination skin, my skin tends to become a little confused come the cooler months of the year and has occasionally dries out in this season so Whisk Away Cleanser has been welcomed by my skin. The cleanser consistency is rich, thick and creamy, and has an amazing subtle scent of baby roses. I also love the fact that Whisk Away Cleanser comes in a squeeze tub, designed to stand on its lid so that every little bit can be squeezed out at the very end. I think this cleanser is such value because this rich formula simply lasts and lasts - and you get change from $20. I give it an extra star for being Australian made and free from both parabens and sulphate. If you have normal, dry or sensitive skin and are seeking a chemical-free cleanser, I certainly recommend Whisk Away Creamy Face Cleanser. I will most definitely try more of the range and will purchase Whisk Away Cleanser in future.
