Mila Kunis has been a household name since That 70's Show hit the silver screen but 2012 looks to be her year. The first half of the year has already seen Mila brace the April cover of US Harper's Bazaar. Now she has been announced as the face Dior's Autumn '12 handbag campaign. Shot in Los Angeles by Mario Sorenti, these beautiful black and white shots show Mila looking sophisticated way beyond her years. Dior's vision for the campaign was to showcase a woman constantly in the face of the paparazzi - someone who is strong enough to accept it and look beyond what is expected of her on a daily basis.
Popular British mag Elle UK nnd Australian In Style have also taken note and Mila is set to grace both of their August 2012 covers... watch out! The heat is on! Mila looks stunning in both editorials. And while we were able to locate images shot by Doug Inglish for Elle UK (available in newsagents now), Aussie title In Style was tight-lipped about their shoot, telling us we must purchase the magazine to see more! What did Mila wear on Elle's cover? Dior, of course!
In the April issue of US Harper's Bazaar Mila was photographed wearing dreamy designer labels whilst playing in a theme park with children's carousels, balloons, fairy floss and bubblegum. These killer shots were snapped by Terry Richardson. The intriguing 28 year old came to the US at the age of 7 and could not speak a word of English... how did she get here?? Mila told the magazine, "The easygoing aspect of me comes from the fact that when you have nothing, you have nothing to lose." It seems that everyone wants to know Mila and it is hard for her to trust and make new friends, telling the magazine, "It's hard to open up to people because often they're more curious than they actually care about you."
With the crazy demands Mila faces on a daily basis from inconsistent filming, travelling and paparazzi, she admits that acting might not be on the cards for too much longer saying, "I don't think I can do it much longer, physically. I am very much a creature of habit, and I have no life consistency. None." Let's hope Dior take notice and make her a full time ambassador for the brand because Mila is one to watch!
