After a decade of success, Delta Goodrem has finally made her debut on the cover of Vogue Australia July 2012. Directed by leading Australian photographer Nicole Bentley and the Vogue fashion team, the 8-page fashion editorial shoot took place at a private residence in Sydney in April. Looking polished, refined and uber expensive, the songstress, currently known for mentoring on The Voice Australia, models a range of stunning designer gowns in a decadent backdrop with a moody setting. Delta's beautiful makeup look for the editorial feature was created by the one and only Napoleon Perdis who said of the experience, "It wasn’t a look that I’ve seen Delta ever wear but she worked it so well and looked incredibly strong and sexy. I just adored working with her and felt privileged to be a part of her first-ever Vogue cover shoot."
We picked up a copy of the magazine yesterday and adore the hair and makeup designs crafted for the shoot. Delta Goodrem is naturally and undeniably drop-dead gorgeous but the airbrushed skin has erased every single pore from her skin's surface to the point where it does not appear natural, real or even idea and the team at Spoilt thinks this is a shame - she does not need airbrushing and body confidence comes with 'real' images. Be sure to pick up a copy of Vogue's July issue, available at all good newsagents now.
