Review: Anti-Wrinkle Q10 Plus Light Day Cream is a lighter version of Nivea's regular Q10 day cream for women concerned with ageing skin that is prone to break-outs. The cream contains Q10 to fight the appearance of wrinkles, while UVA and UVB protected SPF helps guard against future external damage caused by the sun. Having combination skin that easily breaks out from using heavy and concentrated creams and serums, I was excited to try this cream, especially since I have previously tried the standard version. Anti-Wrinkle Q10 Plus Light has the same fragrance as the regular cream, the signature Nivea scent, which is quite strong but pleasant. This scent disappears rather quickly though so don't panic. It is also packaged in a similar glass jar, but it has a light blue lid instead. I do like jars because you can see exactly how much you have left and can use every last bit of cream, I also find them to be very unhygienic so keep the lid closed tightly in between applications. Compared to  Anti-Wrinkle Q10 Plus regular, Light absorbs quickly and with ease, leaving the skin feeling soft and moisturised, without leaving behind a greasy feeling making it ideal to wear under makeup. After having used the cream every day for 3 weeks, I have not experienced any increased breakouts but in a few areas, my skin does look and feel a little more bumpy – so while the cream claims not to clog pores (non-comedogenic), it would be nice if it was the case. My skin feels thoroughly moisturised and plump, but I have not see a major difference to the depth of my wrinkles and lines. In saying that, it generally takes 28 days to see real results due to the skin renewal process so it may in time provide the younger looking skin I would like to see. Would I purchase this cream again? While it is a great step for Nivea to develop an anti-ageing cream for women with combination skin (Note: I wish more companies would), I do not quite find that it addresses all my skin concerns that have come with age including uneven skin tone and pigmentation which I look for in a day cream. With that said, Nivea Anti-Wrinkle Q10 Plus Light Day Cream is a great budget anti-wrinkle cream and I’m sure a lot of women will love it.
