Review: A small amount of conditioner goes a long way with Moroccanoil Extra Volume Conditioner, and you can instantly feel the tangles going away. After leaving it in for a few minutes, the conditioner rinses out quickly and effortlessly, and does not leave behind that sticky feeling like you have not rinsed it out well enough, which is often the case with many other conditioners. And my hair was left feeling very well hydrated, and extremely easy to comb. Moroccan Oil Extra Volume Conditioner has a nice and subtle citrus scent, with a consistency which is a little runnier than other shampoos that I have previously used. After drying my hair, I have to say that I did not notice any increase in volume, but as I do have long thick hair, I also didn’t expect to see a lot of additional volume. But I have notice that my hairis perfectly clean and shiny with a subtle scent and significantly less flyaways.
All in all I love how, with continued use, this conditioner makes my hair feel less weighed down, and consequently my hair looks and feels a lot healthier! Usually my hair requires a thick conditioner which can weigh my hair down and cause build-up in my hair but while using Moroccanoil Extra Volume Conditioner, I no longer require need a weekly build-up cleansing shampoo to remove all the build up from my hair. The other thing I have noticed is that my hair actually stays looking oil-free longer. And I love the fact that Moroccanoil Extra Volume Conditioner nourishes your hair, without the use of harmful additives such as sulphates, phosphates, and parabens, while still remaining colour-safe as well as keratin-enriched. So while it did not give my hair extra volume as the product claims, I will definitely be looking to purchase them again, and I am sure that someone with thin strands or hair prone to limpness, would benefit greatly from using this product. In terms of value for money Moroccanoil Extra Volume Conditioner is priced on the higher end of the scale however the conditioner is very concentrated and the product should take a while to use up this bottle making it worth the money.
