Review: I have thick frizzy hair with coloured highlights through. I usually wash my hair every second day, and rarely do I feel that I need to wash it more than once. With the Moroccan oil shampoo, I struggled getting the shampoo to lather properly, and after rinsing did not feel that my hair felt clean so I repeated, this time using a larger amount of shampoo which created a little bit of lather. But it is not going to lather up as much and other shampoos would because this shampoo doesn't have chemicals used in others such as sulphates and phosphates and parabens. It takes a little getting used to and you may be tempted to use more shampoo than you really need. After washing my hair, my hair was left feeling wonderfully clean without feeling squeaky clean or stripped of moisture.
Moroccan Oil Extra Volume Shampoo has a nice and subtle citrus scent, with a consistency which is a little runnier than other shampoos that I have previously used. After conditioning and drying my hair, I have to say that I did not notice any increase in volume, but I do have long thick hair so didn’t expect to see a lot of additional volume. I did notice that my hair was perfectly clean and shiny with a nice subtle scent, and with significantly less flyaways than I would usually have. I really love Moroccanoil Extra Volume Shampoo and how with continued use it makes my hair feel less weighed down, and in turn it is looking a lot healthier! As an added bonus, I love the fact that the these products give your hair effective nutrition, without unnecessary and potentially harmful additives while still remaining colour-safe and keratin-enriched. In terms of value for money, at $35 for 250ml, Moroccanoil Extra Volume Shampoo is priced on the higher end of the scale, however, once you get used to applying the right amount of shampoo, the product will last for a long time, otherwise if you overuse the product it will obviously get used too quickly. Moroccanoil Extra Volume Shampoo is well worth the money and I will definitely purchase it in future.
