PRODUCT REVIEW: Jane Iredale PurePressed Eye Shadow

Jane Iredale PurePressed Eye Shadow in 'Silver Lining' ($51.00AUD) ★★

Review: I don't want to say this but I am really disappointed by PurePressed Eye Shadow's 'intense' pigment which in fact wore off within a meer 10 minutes after application. While the three shades in the compact compliment one another and suit my fair features, the eye shadows wear barely visible and soon after were no longer visible which was inconvenient because I had to rush out to do the makeup for a TV commercial and I was looking forward to showing off my new eyeshadow to my clients on set. I had seen the trio on Jane Iredale staff at 2010 Sydney Beauty Expo and every woman's eye shadow looked beautiful, strong and heavily pigmented. I understand the shadow is mineral based and should be taken in to account, but Jane Iredale makes claims that Pure Pressed Eye Shadow is highly pigmented. I just noticed that Jane Iredale make an eye primer which perhaps should be sold with every eye shadow to avoid this disappointment because I hate writing negative reviews (especially when it comes to Jane Iredale cosmetics).
