PRODUCT REVIEW: Harlotte Blush

Harlotte Blush in 'Frisky Pink' and 'Peach Frenzy' ($24.00AUD) ★★★★★
About: pressed powder blush. Packaged in a plastic compact with twist lid.
Review: At first I adored Harlotte's two blush shades but at the end of the day the powder formulation is just not pigmented enough for my liking and therefore getting the right consistency is time consuming and can feel as thought I am simply 'packing it on' to give my client enough colour on their face. While Frisky Pink, a soft pink  is very pale, it can be built up to create a beautiful natural look but it can look a little 'Barbie-pink' on some women. Peach-toned blush, Peach Frenzy was originally my favourite because it really brightens the face and looks good on many skin tones, but there are plenty of other options that are available which perform better. I originally stocked these in my kit to sell but they did not prove to be popular enough which is a shame. I would also love to see a rosier tone for those who love accentuated cheeks - oh and a bronzer of course!
