Review: Napoleon Perdis Foundation Stick

Napoleon Perdis Foundation Stick ★★★½
Price: $65.00
About: multi-purpose creamy foundation that offers buildable medium to full coverage. It is packaged in a black plastic 'stick' tube with a wind-up feature.
Review: While I love the idea the buildable coverage that Stick Foundation offers, it is not the best stick foundation on the market. The texture is a little greasy / oily and can make an oily skin appear more-so, therefore I recommend using it on normal to dry skin types because the oils will hydrate and keep skin soft. Having worked with the product in store as well as in my kit, I discovered that many consumers use this to hide blemishes and imperfections brought about by oily or acneic skin. My question is, why does Stick Foundation need to contain oil? Obviously if the target market experiences excessive oiliness then Stick Foundation should be oil-free. Foundation Stick is not for the faint-hearted because it offers a full coverage but once blended, it looks natural. Now that has been said, this multi-purpose product can be used as a concealer underneath the eyes also (but not on oily skin as it can crease or run). Foundation Stick lasts a long time as a little goes the distance.
