Review: Napoleon Perdis China Doll Gel Liner

Napoleon Perdis China Doll Gel Eyeliner - Reformulated ★★★★★
Price: $39.00
About: gel eye liner, that requires thin angle brush for application. Now packaged in glass container with plastic lid.
Review: China Doll Gel Eyeliner is back - the oh-so-smooth creamy formula is still just as good as before but the packaging and shades have been repackaged. I am soooooo glad Napoleon Perdis reformulated China Doll for many reasons:
1. Previously the plastic containers dried out the formula whereas the glass pot is air-tight and prevents the formula from drying out.
2. The new packaging is so much more attractive and sleek in comparison to the old packaging. The butterfly design on the black cardboard box is so cute.
3. With only three liner shades to choose from, I was constantly on the look out for other brands which offered a range of shades but now I can choose from blue, black, brown, grey, alabaster, and teal.
My pick? China Doll in Silver because it took me twelve months to find a silver/grey gel eyeliner and now you can pick this up either online or in a Napoleon Perdis concept store - too easy!

Napoleon Perdis China Doll Eyeliner - Discontinued ($30.00AUD) ★★★½
About: gel eye liner, that requires thin angle brush for application originally packaged in plastic container with twist lid.
Review: To start using these, you will need a thin angle brush. I love China Doll gel liners because they have the best staying power from all the eyeliners out there & Napoleon's gel liners were the first gel liners I had ever used. The colour range is not fantastic but the shades are practical but beware the lid - keep it tight or the soft creamy liner will change into a dried up prune (like mine did!) and for this reason I would recommend the new formula over the original packaging.
