Get The Look: Giorgio Armani S/S 2012 at Milan Fashion Week

We can only say beautiful things about the hair and makeup at Giorgio Armani's Spring/Summer 2012 ready to wear collection, Nacree. Although the garments may not be for everyone, this stunning look is refined with healthy, glowing skin, and statement lines around the eyes that still remain soft. What a show-stopping look.

(Nacre = mother of pearl). Mr Giorgio Armani wanted to reflect the iridescence that transforms colours into watery reflections, that light becomes shape which is distilled in to the purest lines. International Makeup Artist, Linda Cantello took this concept and created a masterpiece that simply nails the description. Linda told the media,"A new focus on light - a unique mother of pearl sheen on eyes swept into temples, Along with iridescent liner softened with shades of aqua, contrasts with matte skin and wet effect lips to create a new take on the Amani glow".
On Monday 26th September 2011, Nacree debuted a collection of neutral tones consisting of long and loose flowing tops, 3/4 pants with a slight slit on the sides in metallic fabrics worn with dresses, assymetrical lines teamed with tailored pieces and soft floral prints on silk. The looks are teamed with large totes in matching muted tones, and wide brimmed hats containing a shimmer fabric that refers to the collection's story and inspiration. Favoured by influential personalities world wide, the front row was filled with the likes of Anna Della Russo, Anna Wintour, and Australian swimmer Ian Thorpe.
