Tibi Spring 2012
On September 15, 2011 Tibi's head designer Amy Smilovic launched her Spring 2012 collection.  While mustard tones made an appearance there was a wash of bright tones that reflected on colours you see on earth - blues, yellows, greens, blacks and greys, to name a few.

Kim Soane, Bobbi Brown's Makeup Director for the show said, “Tibi's Spring 2012 collection features minimalistic, relaxed and almost sporty silhouettes, so the makeup is natural and clean. The eyes are bright and fresh with a wash of white shadow on the lids and the lips are enhanced with Nude Rose, achieving understated beauty with a look that is feminine and pretty.” Hair was set off the face in a sleek ponytail with a side part that gives focus to the clean and simple makeup while offsetting a professional, polished and image-conscious look.

Rachel Roy Spring 2012
On Tuesday September 12, 2011 designer Rachel Roy debuted her Spring 2012 collection. Rachel was inspired by women's fashion during the 1920's and 1930's because it was a time where women broke cultural traditions and decided to explore. It interested her to play with garments whilst attempting to predict if women wore pieces from a gentlemen's wardrobe as well as how it could be modernised to suit consumers of today.

Bobbi Brown,  Makeup Artist and Director of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics said, “Rachel's collection embodies the look of 'Colonial Vietnam' with clothes inspired by the women of Saigon in the 20s, ranging in color from neutral to bright. To complement the array of hues in the collection, the makeup remains natural-looking, featuring shades of Rose Gold on the eyes, cheeks and lips. Rose gold creates the perfect neutral for any skin tone. It also happens to be both my and Rachel's favorite shade of gold."
