Review: Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel

Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel ★★½
Price: $38.00
Size: 125ml
About: foaming gel cleanser that emulsifies and foams while removing impurities and turns into an oil and then a cream formulation. Packaged in a clear plastic squeeze tube and is suitable for all skin types.
Review: I was so excited to try this product after feeling it on my the back of my hand at a Clarins beauty counter.Around this time I had seen advertising for Pure Melt Cleansing Gel everywhere and had heard rave reviews about it. However this did not live up to its expectations because it refused to foam up for me and therefore it did not give a proper cleanse and so I had to finish with my regular cleanser which cleansed skin sufficiently. While the brands claims Pure Melt Cleansing Gel transforms into an ultra-fine oil, then a milky emulsion, I found it disappointing. I love the fact it contains exotic ingredient Marula Oil but even that would not bring me back to giving it a second shot.
