Review: If I had to list my top 10 foundations then this would make the list. Mineral Plus Liquid Foundation just keeps on giving and giving - it gives a buildable medium to full coverage, it treats and conditions skin with its fantastic list of ingredients, and it contains sunscreen protection too. How many foundations can do this for under $50? Not many. The formula is creamy and blends with ease although I do need to rinse the excess off my hands quite thoroughly after each application. The formula is not chalky or thick like mineral liquid foundations used to be, in fact you would not tell this one apart from a regular liquid foundation because the quality and consistency has been matched. The scent is soft, it tends to smell clean and very 'mineral-like' but once applied the scent does not tend to linger. The formula itself is free from nasties such as artificial colours, talc, parabens and mineral oil. It contains Zinc Oxide which gives skin natural protection from the sun, Jojoba Seed Oil to minimize the appearance of fine lines, Vitamin E to protect and hydrate the skin and Rosehip Oil, a powerful antioxidant that naturally improves elasticity. It loses a half star because I find the formula does not last on the skin as long as I would like it to without fading or wearing off a little which means I still need to keep my compact powder on hand for the occasional touch up in the afternoon. Mineral Plus Liquid Foundation is great for all skin types especially sensitive, irritated and acneic skin types because it contains healing properties and allows the skin to breathe.
