Pink Diva's Must-Have Powders

  1. BECCA Boudoir Skin Mineral Powder - this is my numero uno choice when it comes to pressed powders and for many reasons too. First it is a mineral powder which means the formula will not clog up your pores, second, the compact is the perfect size for your hand bag, your beauty bag, or event your pocket, third the colour match is perfect for my skin (I use Bloom), and lastly the coverage is a medium finish which is how I like my coverage.
  2. Maybelline Shine Free Oil Control Loose Powder - for a budget buy you cannot go past Shine Free Oil Control Loose Powder. The coverage is a light matte finish which lasts and lasts for hours on end. The sheer texture means the colours will match most skin tones as the finish is not cakey or obvious. I used these in my kit for years and my brides' makeup lasted all day with minimal touch ups. The packaging looks really professional too, and it is so easy to buy the brand you will find it in chemists, department stores and grocery stores everywhere.
  3. Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Powder - this has got to be my favourite Too Faced product. Absolutely Invisible Powder is the finest translucent powder I have ever used. It feels silky smooth on skin and it even feels ultra smooth to touch in the compact... I just love the feel. The packaging looks professional and is a great size to easy to carry around in your clutch/handbag. It does contain ingredients I do not enjoy using but you have to take the good with the bad.
  4. M.A.C Select Sheer Loose Powder - Ok, so I have only used this a few times but each time I have Select Sheer Loose Powder has stood the test of time. It offers a sheer coverage and is designed to help set foundation and other makeup products. The consistency is lightweight and sheer, the finish is very natural and is easy to blend. There are soooo many shades to choose from that you just can't go wrong. One of my favourite M.A.C base products.
  5. Clinique Blended Face Powder & Brush - I really, really love Clinique's Blended Face Powder and it is one of the only brands I know that actually supply a travel sized brush... how convenient! There are plenty of shades to choose from (my advice: try to avoid the pink tones because they do not work for everyone) and the coverage is a light to medium finish. The texture is lightweight and the formula is easy to blend. Try it out because I know you will love it.
Have you tried any powder products on my Top 5 list? How did you find your experience?

I have not actually tried any of the ones you have listed here, I normally just use a loose powder ti set my foundation, currently an EDM Kaolin based one, and for touch-ups I prefer a compact. I will have to try at least the Maybelline one, considering its second on your list and is so so cheap, definitely worth a shot :) Great list thanks for sharing :)
