Review: After hearing about the wonders of owning your own Parlux hair dryer, I finally bit the bullet and purchased my own...I wanted to be like the 'cool kids' and own a professional salon-grade hair dryer. For years I have used a renown' budget' brand which has been a great asset but it is now time to move on to something that acts faster and performs more efficiently. Sure the price tag is steep but how much would you pay for a good hair straightener... $200+ I hear you say. So why compromise on the equally important hair dryer?

For me, I wash my long hair every two-three days and always blow dry to help rid excess water from my hair strands. I personally HATE washing my hair because it is so time consuming and with my old hair dryer it would take me about 15-20 minutes to get my hair to a point where I could leave the rest to dry. Now it takes me 5-10 minutes to blow dry my hair to a point where I can leave the reast to air dry which is so handy for me and my busy lifestyle. If you too lead a busy lifestyle then seriously consider a Parlux 3500 because they are fantastic (they really are) plus it comes in pink which I just adore.

When I used my 3500 Supercompact Ceremic & Ionic hair dryer for the first time, I did not seem to realise the difference between this and my hardworking cheapy. However when I compare the quality and performance with my other one Parlux 3500 wins hands-down. I became impatient with my previous hair dryer and felt as though the power, the heat and the force of the dryer was not nearly half as good as my Parlux 3500.

The hair dryer includes the patented Ceramic & Ionic system which helps hair with the maintaining of moisture as well as smoothing hair from roots to tip. When handling a Parlux 3500 Supercompact for the first time, I honestly almost nearly dropped it because the heat and speed options are along the handle and I could not get used to the feel of the bulky handle but because the product is so sleek and small, I can see why it was created this way and am now accustomed to it.
If the fact that Parlux is used in most hair salons does not impress you, then its features will:

-A three-metre long cord is perfect for those with power points in strange areas and dodging every day objects in the bathrooms.
-There are two heat and two speed settings but being the impatient person that I am, I only use the highest setting for both. Parlux 3500 is not for the feint hearted - I have burned my scalp and face a few times because theheat is quite intense when left on an area for too long.
-I use one of the two nozzles provided to give my hair a more targeted blow dry.
-With over 2,000 watts of power, Parlux 3500 Supercompact is a powerful hair styling too.
-Best of all, it contains a one-year warranty from the date of purchase (mind you, I doubt this will be required as a friend of mine has had hers for 7 years now).
-With a wonderful range of colours to choose from and years of experience in the hair industry, Parlux hair dryers are not only reliable but also a way of the future and I highly recommend them.
